Kim Kardashian's Vera Wang-designed wedding dress replicas are still being sold, despite many fearing they are "cursed" by her short-lived marriage.

Kim filed for divorce from her husband Kris Humphries earlier this week, after just 72 days of marriage.

Vera designed the star's highly-anticipated wedding gown for her big day in August - along with another two dresses that she changed into during the day.

Sources have revealed replicas of the gowns will still be sold as "it is too late to stop [production]".

They are due in stores in February.

Insiders say iconic designer Vera was shocked by the breakdown of Kim and Kris' marriage.

"Vera cultivated the relationship with the Kardashians years ago. Everyone was taken for a ride on this one," a source told the New York Post.

"Some on the sales side worry the dresses are cursed," added another insider.

The upcoming collection includes a 'Kim-inspired tulle ball gown' which is similar to the one she wore for the ceremony itself.

There's also a 'mermaid gown' like the TV star donned for her reception.

David's Bridal executive VP Brian Beitler confirmed that the dresses will all still be sold.

"The entire White by Vera Wang spring 2012 collection will be available exclusively at David's Bridal stores next season," he revealed.

A representative for Vera had no comment.

Kim flew to Australia to promote her handbag line with sister Khloé shortly after filing for divorce from sports star Kris.
