Family welcomes new child in 100th adoption of the year
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) - Montgomery County is celebrating its 100th adoption of the year.
Friday, the Fanham family officially welcomed their newest addition, adopting Samuel at the court house.
They said they have been foster parents for the last two-and-a-half years and decided to adopt.
They also had words of encouragement for anyone considering going through the adoption process.
“It’s hard, it really is, but it’s so worth it,” says Megan Farnham. “He’s brought so much happiness and joy in our lives, it’s so worth it.”
The family says they have taken care of Samuel since he was two days old.
