Jeff Goldblum Fulfilled a Teenage Dream Written on Steamed Glass

Jeff Goldblum, 66, is an actor and jazz pianist. He has starred in more than 70 films, including “Nashville,” “Annie Hall,” “Jurassic Park,” “The Big Chill” and “The Fly.” His latest jazz album is “The Capitol Studios Sessions” (Decca).

I started taking piano lessons when I was 10. Like most kids, I studied classical music for the first couple of years. Then my teacher gave me sheet music to a song that became my gateway to jazz. The song was “The Alley Cat.”
