How Ahmed El Ghandour’s love of science led to an online show watched by
millions of Egyptians.

   Meet Ahmed El Ghandour. He may just be the most popular teacher in
   Egypt.

   The self-confessed physics lover hosts a science series that has
   clocked up more than 19 million views on YouTube since its launch in
   2014.

   As Al Daheeh, an insecure nerd, he covers topics ranging from evolution
   to war and blockchain.

   El Ghandour’s aim is to make science fun and accessible to millions. “I
   love all scientific subjects,” he says. “I can’t stick to learning only
   one.”
