People get calls when a parent/parent-in-law is dies?

   and after Hannah got married her husband got a call that her
   Father-in-law is dead.

     family, just sad, missing all the many friends and loved ones who
     had pre-deceased her.
       My mom-in-law was pretty much the same way -- she once told my
       husband (her eldest son) that she didn't see herself living past 85
       (she had a lot of health issues as well as old age) and died a
