Hi everyone, I'm filling out the forms for sponsoring my mother in-law for PR application. But in the form "IMM1344E--Application to sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking", Part1, Question.6: Relationship to principle applicant, the default options only have "Parent" but no "Parent In-Law". Can I just select "Parent" ? Or do I need to select "Other" and fill the next box with "Parent In-Law"? Thanks!
I see, but your question was worded as "I am filling out the forms for sponsoring my mother-in-law...", when you should have said "We are filling out the forms...". Your wife has to be part of the process.
Your wife can sponsor her parents. You can cosign. You will have to wait until you and your wife meet the financial requirements.
Your wife MUST be the sponsor, for her own parents. You can be co-signer. You can NOT be the main sponsor. As long as you are co-signer, you can use your income from 2011, 2012 and 2013 meeting necessary LICO amounts, to qualify for submitting the app in 2015.
I understood now! My Wife has to be the main sponsor, but she can use my Tax for the past 3 years as I am the con-signer. Thanks ALL!!!! I almost make the BIG mistake to submit a invalid application...
