   综合外媒报道，当地时间16日，英国首相约翰逊宣布，因面临新的科技威胁，英国将把核弹头储备增加40%以上，以在风险更大的全球环境中确保安全。对于
   英国此举，有反战组织批评到：这是蓄意加强核军备竞赛。

   据报道，英国此前一直在削减其核武器储备。在2010年，政府设定了到2020年年中核弹头数量不超过180枚的上限。不过，约翰逊摒弃了此前的限制，
   宣布将核弹头的储备上限增加至260枚。

   英国在一份安全与防务评估报告中表示，英国“需要其核威慑力量来保障其及其盟友的安全”。

   此外，这份报告还指出，英国计划在2030年前保留四艘配备三叉戟导弹的前卫级核潜艇。至于理由，报告称，这是“为保证我国的威慑不在潜在对手的先发制
   人行动面前显得脆弱”，报告强调，“以便至少其中一艘能持续开展海上威慑巡逻”。

   据介绍，四艘配备三叉戟导弹的前卫级核潜艇是英国当前唯一的核武器系统，均驻扎在格拉斯哥地区，每艘潜艇携带40枚核弹头。

   对于英国此举，非营利反战组织Stop the War
   Coalition的创始成员杰尔曼表示，“(英国政府)取消对核弹头的限制，是蓄意升级核军备竞赛和对和平的威胁。”

   杰尔曼认为，从军事角度看，“英国这一决定没有根据，因为该国未面临任何迫在眉睫的核威胁”。

   此外，她还指出，“当我们无法付钱给护士或安置无家可归的人时，这还是一种可怕的资金浪费。”
